Yasuo Kazuki Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

Yasuo was both a painter and printmaker (i.e., lithograph, intaglio and woodblock). The subjects of more than twenty of his prints were flowers and (or) birds. Twenty-one examples are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Yasuo drew flowers and birds in a modern, creative way often distorting their shapes and (or) simplifying their colors.
